Talk Therapy

A steady, collaborative space to explore,
understand and heal.

Choosing Therapy

We all face overwhelming emotional challenges or difficult experiences at some point in life. Whatever brings you to therapy, asking for help can be hard — and yet that decision is often where healing begins. In my garden studio on Brighton's green outskirts, I offer individual and relationship counselling with care, curiosity and respect.

Who is it for?

Therapy offers a way to share the burdens, confusions and challenges of life, while coming to understand yourself more deeply. It can help disentangle the past, make sense of present patterns and support you to make the choices and changes you need. You might come with a clear concern, such as anxiety, low mood, loss, relationship difficulties, addiction, neurodivergence, health concerns, or questions of meaning and identity. You may also simply feel that something in your life needs time, attention and compassionate exploration. Therapy provides a balanced, collaborative space in which to make sense of experience, encourage true self-care and find your own way forward.

My approach

I practise attachment-informed depth psychology therapy, paying attention to how our earliest experiences of family life, care and connection can shape the way we relate to ourselves, to others and to the world around us. Therapy offers a space to notice how old stories, patterns and feelings may still be influencing present life. By making room for conscious and unconscious thoughts, memories and emotions, the work can bring clarity to inner conflict and support a more authentic, practical and compassionate way forward.

My background in education, therapy, food, philosophy, psychology and spirituality informs an integrative and inclusive approach that values each person's individuality within our shared human experience.

What to expect

I offer an initial 20-minute online conversation so that we can introduce ourselves, talk about what brings you to therapy and consider whether working together feels right. If we decide to continue, sessions are usually weekly and may be short-term or open-ended, depending on your needs. Each therapeutic relationship is unique, so we will agree a rhythm and focus that supports the work while allowing space for what emerges over time.
